LFEC Stream Academy gives your child a head start inspiring minds with real-world STEM problems in Aerospace. We are the only aerospace elementary and middle school in Brevard County.
We partner with NASA and ACE (Aerospace Center For Excellence) to develop student engaging curriculum. Embraer and other local aviation company employees volunteer their time to bring a hands on experience.

"Our school follows a well-structured curriculum that is developed using CPALMS Florida, the official source for standards, along with a unique framework called STREAM. This framework emphasizes the integration of Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Math.
At STREAM, we take pride in supporting, nurturing, inspiring, and challenging our students as they progress from elementary to middle school. Our goal is to prepare them to excel in diverse roles such as artists, writers, entrepreneurs, scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and more.
In addition to learning foundational skills and specific practical knowledge related to each subject, our students also explore how the unit's Essential Questions relate to and enhance the content of their courses. The STREAM approach acknowledges that every learner has their unique starting point and individual journey towards mastering each subject. We firmly believe that even our youngest students possess a wealth of complex concepts about how and why the world works.
A rigorous, classroom-based education with integrated supports. In the classroom and life beyond, our students are empowered to own their impact with tailored toolkit and guidance for independence and self-advocacy. For many students, at previous schools most of the year is spent trying to fit in, but for STREAM Academy children, standing out comes early. At STREAM through the nurturing of purpose, passion and talent, being exceptional is not only recognized but celebrated.
Students who have trouble are supported with one-on-one teaching or small group interventions. Last year all our K-1st grade student were readers. We want the best from all our children and push them for success.
We realize that some students need additional supports. iPads with text to speech, bouncy balls, timers, reading guides, fidget spinners are just a few of the item we use to assist student achieving academic success.

Our teachers and administrators have years of experience. Many have Masters degree in their subject of teaching. Teacher at STREAM teach multiple grades which gives them the skill to reach students where they are and propel their education.
